Hi George,
there is a village called Kaysersberg near Colmar.
Carsten: This village in Alsace makes sense, because Mainz were called
"Mogutiacum" by the "Roemer". It's a little different from "Magunitino".
And since about the Middle Ages (and before) the German village names exist.
I would guess Magunitino Pricipalus Lorraine is not a pure latin expression.
