The DVHH is interested in developing English websites regarding the following villages for of the Timisoara Quarters, here are the links:

Fabric
Elisabetin
Iosefin
Mehala
Fratelia
Freidorf


All the Quarters/villages are in place but need content and information added. Timisoara being the "hub" of the Banat drew many from the outlining villages. I am sure many of you have relatives who lived in these villages. All help with the sites and contributions to the contents are appreciated. Anyone who would like to volunteer to be Village Coordinators, please let me know. Here is the main homepage for them:

At the present Mehala is the only one I am working on. Georg Grega has given permission to translate his German Mehala site into English. Brad Schwebler is graciously translating much of the History and it is being added. I personally have an interest in Mehala, as that is the place of birth for my Great Grandmother Elizabeth Marmon and the last residence my roots lived prior to immigration. I don't have any information for other families.
