Hi Amanda,
I am new to the list also and to Banat research, but I
saw your query on the list, and thought that maybe I
could help you. Have you tried David Dreyer's
Emigration database for the Banat? The adress is
listed as found in the Rootsweb freepages, but I have
had difficulty finding it by going through Rootsweb
itself. I found the Dreyer database by doing a Net
search using one of the surnames you had listed +
"banat", but an even easier way to get to this list is
to simply use "banat emigration". I did just a general
search on Yahoo, by the way.
The Dreyer list is pretty extensive, but I found many
of your surnames. It's an emigration database mostly
to the U.S and Canada, and is cross-indexed in several
ways.
