What a pretty Kukruzpuppe, Cornelia - what have you named her? Here in England we also used to make dolls out of poppies (the red
petals made wonderful skirts, the black stamen made a splendid collar, and we made the facial features with our thumb nail)... and
the old-fashioned wooden clothes pegs were also great for making dolls. But nothing is as splendid as
a Kukruzpuppe (or 'corn dolly' as we call them here)... Thank you for publicising your article and picture!
