Here's a complete explanation:
The AKdFF has published a series of books by Stefan Stader entitled: Sammelwerk donauschwaebischer Kolonisten (Compilation of Data on Danube Swabian Settlers). Six volumes, each arranged alphabetically by family name, have been published to date:
Teil I A-D (1997)
Teil II E-G (1998)
Teil III H-Kap (1999)
Teil IV Kar-L (2000)
Teil V M-O (2001)
Teil VI P-Sch (2003).
Each volume includes information on the original colonists from the former German states to Hungary. Sources include documents in the Hofkammer Archive in Vienna (Banater Akten, Schlafkreuzerrechnungen et. al), the Hacker books, Familienbuecher covering German and Hungarian villages, Anton-Peter Petris series of booklets on the original settlers of Hungarian villages and data from some Hungarian villages.

Would someone be so kind as to do Stader look-ups for the following names?
LEGLER, KELBLI - (or Kalbli), DORNSTAEDTER - (or Dornstetter), MENRATH , MAERZLUFT, KRAUS, LEIBLI
These all landed up in the Batschka. If I need to send any more info to make the look-up easier, please ask, and I'll provide you with all I have..
Thanks in advance,
Renate in Montreal
