Hi Rosemarie.

Beaverbrae, is the name of a ship.
It was operated by Canadian Pacific Lines and operated between Bremen, Germany and the Canadian Ports, like St.John, NB; Halifax, NS; Quebec City, QU. and Montreal, QU. If I'm correct, it made it's last trip in 1951.
My parents came to Canada, on the Beaverbrae, in 1948.

There is no locality in Banat by the name of Beaverbrae.
When you mentioned Baumgarten.Rom. and Vokany, Hun. I assume you were referring to localities and not family names.
Baumgartner, is a family name, there is a Baumgarten village,
about 20 kilometres North of Arad.
Vokany, Hung. -( vokany-jgimesi ), is 119 miles SSW, from Budapest.

What I gather here is, - your relatives travelled on the Beaverbrae, from Bremen, to Halifax.
You will find the Ship Records from the Beaverbrae, in a public Library, in Montreal.
The ship list abstractions might not be as detailed as the Ellis Island ones.

For your information; - there was a Johann Stefan, born in Baumgarten, house number 102, he died in 1917, in an English prison. during WW-I.
Good luck.

Alex.
