Hi Diana

There are microfilm copies of the church records -- available through LDS FHL.
From a "Place Search" in FHL catalogue
Roman Catholic Church register of births, marriages and deaths for Karlsdorf,
Banat, Hungary; later Károlyfalva, Temes, Hungary; also called
Nagykárolyfalva; now Banatski Karlovac, Srbija, Yugoslavia. The mateiral in the other
filming is difficult to use because it was filmed out of order, but it may contain
some material not in the first filming

Church records available at FHL: Christenings 1801-1832, Marriages 1801-1832,
Deaths 1801-1832 -- FHL Film 858457
Andere Verfilmung. Stuttgart : Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen FHL Film
1271540

see http://www.genealogienetz.de/reg/ESE/banat_k.htm#karlsdorf
which gives founding date for Karlsdorf as 1803

also notes it is filial parish to Neu-Moldowa

from village list at genealogy.net pages for Neu-Moldowa
Church records available at FHL: Christenings 1826-1851, Marriages 1826-1851,
Deaths 1826-1851 -- FHL Microfilm Nr. 1190402

Hopefully, some info in these films may be helpful.

Regards
Linda
