Check this website for total deaths during WWII:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II

It says about 68 million, 5.8 million were from Poland. Long ways from
110 million.

I suggest rechecking that 110 million number. Its greatly inflated.
There was not many people killed in all of World War II - Europe and
Asia.

Hello Mike;

Yes it is too bad that 110 million people died as a result of the
invasion of Poland. My grandfather was one of them and my whole family
suffered beyond compare on life and asset losses because of Hitler & Co.

But is that a justifiably reason to perpetuate hatred by following 'eye
for eye' ideas? The Marshal Plan was thought of only after that book has
been published by its American author. And look what it accomplished:
Peace in Western Europe and prosperity to the USA!

As you well know you can cutch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Alas, too bad the 110 million people who died as a result of the
invasion of Poland didn't get to see the Germans suffer. The Germans
are extinct, right, after such harsh treatment under the Marshall plan?

Hello Donauschwaben;

Our Aida sent me the info on the book GRUESOME HARVEST by Ralph Franklin
Keeling, written in 1947 about the conditions in Germany at that time.
You might like to have a look:
