Two concerned and upset Ladies approached me in
private regarding my post to Banat-L dated March 17.
Also, Mr. Amann asked privately for clarifications.
First let's reconstruct the whole visible puzzle:
December 2005: Triebswetter Familienbuch is published.

I reserved a FB Triebswetter for a long time yet and
never get it?

. . .
I was surprised when I get the FB Triebswetter that
there was no reference on my work. I searched a lot of
people coming from Lorraine and all are in this book.
So, I will give you all the families I found in
Lorraine and which are in my work which is not
finished: "l'émigration des Lorrains vers le Banat et
la Batschka au 18ème siècle".
The families are the numbers: 16, 20, 28, 43, 48, 61,
81, 178, 227, 1069, 264, 275, 289, 298, 301 330 331
357 371 385 393 420 443 447 472 499 503 542 555 560
563 588 669 676 680 725 857 862 870 871 872 873 874
875 1045 1046 1069 1130 1129 1339 1374 1378 1391 1513
(nicht im Buch: es ist MOUGEANGEON Claude, von
Sarreguemines), 1523 1524 1762 1804 1809 1860 1871
1876 1941 1956 2049 2053 2058 2059 2074 2283 2359 2610
2620 2782 2659 2690 2903
I think that all the authors of FB could write from
where they have the informations. It's the less they
could do!

Unfortunately, a page has been left out at the book's
editing. The map has been glued in the book instead. I
should have attached this page to the book. Sorry! I
apologized in writing to the French researcher . . . I
was expecting at least the French family investigator
to publish my excuses, where he expressed his
complaint (Banat-Mailing-List) . . .

After reading the mail from Lothar Renard, the author
of the FB Triebswetter, I would just to make clear the
little problem, I had with the author
The fact there was no sources in the book was just a
accident due to the printer, so the story is closed.

"In fact, the page prior to the map is numbered now as
no. 4 and the page after the map is numbered as no. 5.
If a page, containing acknowledgements, should be
published here instead of the map [which need no
numbering!], this page was numbered as . . . ?
What a mess!"

If Mr. Amann received a letter with excuses between
December 2005 and February 17, 2006, then his e-mail
to Banat-L was inappropriate because he already knew
about the "printing accident".
The fact that an angry e-mail was posted on Banat-L by
Mr. Amann on February 17, 2006 makes me think that Mr.
Amann received the letter with excuses only (long?)
after February 17, 2006 and Mr. Renard acted only on
pressure.
In this case Mr. Renard's explanations regarding the
"printing accident" are very "thin" (btw, the missing
page could be attached easily in the book after the
book was bounded but before forwarding the two volumes
to the buyers) and the backwards step taken now by Mr.
Amann are just inexplicable.
Anyhow, somebody did a mistake and that person is not
the (silent) printer_publisher.
