Hello Harold,

here is a translation, please don't look on the grammar :-)

Dear collegues and researchers,

it's perhaps possible to get a hint from you for searching issues in
"Mähren". I have a problem with the third settlers generation of the
banater Dupont family and a reference to the origin "Mähren".

Mathias Dipong, born 1800 in Mähren, died 13 Feb 1807 in
Kathreinfeld/Banat. Parents: Jakob Dipong, born 1777 in St. Hubert, but
can't be found in the parish records there, and Theresia from "France".
Source: Queiser, FB St. Georgen/Kathreinfeld 521.1, Awender FB
Stephansfeld D29.001,0.

The interesting issue here is the birth of Mathias, first child of this
couple. The later kids are all born in Kathreinfeld. If the baptisation
record of Mathias can be found in Mähren, it's perhaps also possible to
get additional hints to the parents. Mähren is of course a very general
topic of research but someone may have knowledge of the areas in Mähren
where researching is reasonable. Further, someone may have knowledge
about the reasons for migration from Mähren to the Banat and vice versa.
