Seeking info on William Barger born PA (Union? Mifflinburg?) ca. 1822, and
died in Denison, Crawford Co., Iowa aft. 1900. Names of parents or
siblings are unknown. His marr. Araminta E.Reifsnyder, b. PA 1831, at
Logansport, IN July 1850. She died at Ottawa, IL 1872. Her parents were:
Henry M. Reifsnyder (1805-1873) Eve Marie Withington (1809-1875). They
were born PA, moved to OH, IN, and died in Ottawa, IL.

Charlotte Withington, sister of Eve Marie, married Peter Oliphant. He was
from PA and went west. He and Barger were business associates in various
investments in Iowa and maybe elsewhere. Oliphant and Charlotte may have
been estranged and possibly divorced. I do not think she moved west with
him. I think they had some children.
