Hi Guys, I don't know where to start, but here goes. My grand father James W.
Barker married my grand mother in Denver, CO in 1894. Here name was Margaret C.
Wright. They had two children Alva R. Barker b-3-24-1909 and Ella Mae Barker
b-5-30-1902. They are my father and aunt. Both were born in Broomfield, CO.
The family moved to Long Beach, CA on Sept. 1913 and James died 5 months later.
d-2-27 1914.

I found James w. Barker and wife in the 1900 Denver census. He says he was
born in Wisconsin on 3-27-1867. He said his father was also James W. Barker from
NY and then England. his Mothers name was unknown but she was also from NY and
then England. I got a copy of his death certificate and it says mothers name
unknown but she was from Wisconsin.
I have been unable to find any record of the birth records.
I did find two James W. Barkers in the 1885 Denver City Directory but have been
unable to tell if either or both are my Barkers. I kind of feel at least one of
them is.

One more thing. My gfather James head stone says b-in 1854, but his death cert.
says b-1864. I feel that the census showing b-1867 is probably be right. Sense
he was alive to give the information . But he was dead and some one else gave
the information for the death cert.
