David Henry Barker B. 1852 in Missouri. His brother Joseph P. Barker b.
1857 in Missouri. They moved to Parker County Texas or Shackelford County
Texas between 1860 and 1870. David married Charlotte Durkin in Shackelford
County, Texas on Nov. 12, 1874. They had two daughters, Ada and Ida and
three sons, Joseph Owen, Henry David and Charles.

David Henry Barker was a Marshall and Ranger at Fort Griffin, Texas. A
Constable at Mobeetie, Texas and Deputy Sheriff in Tascosa, Texas.
Charlotte died at Tascosa Texas in 1887 at the age of 27 while giving Birth
to Charles. David was killed a short time later and the Children were
farmed out to relatives. Joseph Owen ( my grandfather ) was sent to live
with his uncle Joseph P. Barker who was single and had a Farm in Gray
County Texas. Have complete history of David's descendants.

David Henry and Joseph P. Barker's father was born in Kentucky and their
mother was from Illinois. They lived in Missouri before going to Texas.
That's all I know about David and Joseph's parents I know that there were
more brothers and probably sisters. Any information about David and
Joseph's parents or siblings would be appreciated. Will be glad to exchange
information that I have and its a lot.
