I also am looking for N. C. Barker, a William Barker, born there about
1790-1800.
(Caswell County, N.C. ? ) Wm.'s wife was "Nancy" (Nancy Brinckle? a Wm.
Barker married Nancey Brinckle on Jan. 11, 1820 at Caswell County, N.C.)
Wm. & Nancy moved to Carroll County, TN sometime about 1830 - perhaps with
an intermediate stop in southern Illinois. Was William Barker's father,
"David Barker" of Caswell County, N.C. (a private from N.C. in American
Revolution). a David Barker married Sarah Cochran on 20 April, 1790 in
Caswell County, N.C. Wm Barker's son, John Wesley Barker, (md. Margaret
Stewart) moved to Craighead County, Arkansas in 1860, then to Newton
County, Arkansas in 1876. Any body have a connection?
