Before 1792-Ester Banning married Thomas Barker in Kent Co Delaware, they
moved to Bourabon Co. Kentucky and in Ester's Uncles Richard Banning's will
and administration papers, they were charged with taking a young male slave
of Richard's
to Kentucky and not having paid for him, this was early 1800's
Ester's father, Phineas Banning married a Phobe or Phoebe ? after his first
wife, (Ester's mother) died. Phoebe married a Joseph Barker after Phineas
death in 1791.
Does anyone know anything about this family? There are rumors that Phoebe
ended up in Ohio with her three daughters from Joseph Barker. Thank you for
any information.
