i think, that Peter M Barker is the son of Charles Terrell Barker, born 13
Mar. 1859. This Barker family went to Christian County Ky.,(next to
Clarksville Tn.) Peter married Anne Johnson. The father of Charles T. Barker
was John Walton Barker, born in Nottaway Co. VA. Married Mary Minor
Merriwether 19 Aug 1814, in Louise Co. VA. He married Ella Carr after the
death of Mary Minor.
His father was Charles Jr. He and his friend and brother-in-law , came to
Kentucky in 1809.
His father was also Charles Barker, son of Henry,Barker. Henry's father was
Jethro Barker,
Jethro's father was John Barker of Indian fields.VA. Indian Fields was a
plantation, his father was John Barker the Sea Captain. Hope this helps.
