Looking for a John Barnes who went west during the gold rush of 1849..Was from Mercer county ,PA....Left a wife Elizabeth Wagner and a son Thomas who is my gggrandfather...Thomas left Pa and came to Ohio(stark co.).John was probably in his late 20's os early 30's when he went west...Thanks for any help..Roger Barnes..mailto:
