Dear Barton Cousins,

Our home in Seguin, Texas was flooded October 17th. We lost just about
everything . . . and of course "things" are just things and can either be
replaced or (in so many cases) one can do without.

However, photographs, personal items, etc. can rarely be replaced.

I'm hoping that I have sent some of my Barton/Oldham information to someone
who subscribes to this list and if so, hoping that it can be sent back to
me -- as I attempt to re-construct my files.

The computer "gurus" were unable to save anything from my C, D, and zip
drives (certainly made a believer of me regarding storing a backup copy
off-premises -- such as a lock box or safe deposit box!).

I descend from David Barton and Ruth Oldham . . . and hoping that someone
recognizes those names . . . and also my name if we have exchanged and
shared information.
