Can anyone give me any information on the Isaac Barton listed below? I
suspect that he was a Baptist(?) Preacher about 1780 in the area known as the
Western Lands of North Carolina, now East Tennessee. Thanks, Jim Webb

Isaac Barton, b:16 August 1746 Frederick County, Maryland, d: 10 November
1831 Granger County, Tennessee. He was married to Keziah Murphy b: 7 August
1754 Virginia d: 29 July 1854 Grainger County, Tennessee. They had a
daughter, Elizabeth Barton b: 11 September 1779 Henry County Virginia d: 15
March 1869 Johnson County Missouri. She was married to James Carmichael b:
28 August 1780 Pennyslvania d: 18 may 1865 Johnson County, Missouri. They
were married 8 November 1802 "Jefferson County, Tennessee"
