Donna:

I am most interested in this posting because I have a John Barton born in New
Yourk January 12, 1834, whose first wife, according to family records was
Hannah Smith. He married second Maryette Larkin, in Michigan I think, and
lived in both Homer, Calhoun County, Michigan, and then in Stanton, Montcalm
County Michigan, where he died October 17, 1877. I have visited his grave.
These details are close enough to deserve a close look. Any chance my John
Barton could be the one you have listed?
