Hi, Beverly. I've seen the info on GenForum and I know that many believe the
mother of James Barton was Mary Kimber, however, my research has just not
shown that. I could be wrong and would love to hear from anyone who has been
able to document that Thomas Barton married Mary Kimber. Most of the will
information is found on LDS films #172,929 and 172,836. The marriage of
Thomas Barton & Mary Dungan can be found in the records of the First
Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA. The will of Mary Barton can be
found on LDS film #172,902. Hope this helps. Also, if you have information
on the children of James Barton, would appreciate knowing what you have
figured out. This is a very confusing family and I'm sure we can all use all
the help we can get. Kathy
