Looking for information on our William Barton who was of Bloomfield ,Conn. (then-called Wintonbury). He was born ca. 1710-15. He died before 1760 + and left a wife Sarah, and a son Wiliam. This son was an inventor of a special process of making brass bells. He also made guns during the American Revolution. He does not appear to be of the Mass., New York or Rhode Island Bartons.
