Hi, thank-you so much for replying. On the Thomas Barton, I can't find a year for him, I am not even sure what Sarah's last name is. The son James was born about 1847. James was born in Fauquier County, Va. And married in 1867 to Julia McCLUNG in Harrison,WV. I don't know when Thomas was born. There is a David Barton born 1849 in Harrison Co,WV. He may be James' brother because I know he is related to me. His grandson couldn't remember how though. David married a Martha Harris. David's family moved to Gilmer County in 1883. . James had a son Albert (who was my great grandfather) and they came to Gilmer county I don't know if it connects to the Thomas Barton you have . Maybe that will help you to see if we are connected.
