I have found that, D.T. Barton actually had a ranch in Watervalley,Tx just a few miles from Sterling City,Tx.the family that purchased the ranch still call it 'The Barton' ranch. The person I talked to said, his grandmother and Mrs. Blanche Barton ( D.T.'s wife) had been very good friends many years ago.
