In the original report there were six individual with 11 and three with 12,
so 11 is chosen as the modal or most common value. If there are further
results than the mode could change.
This whole Modal Haplotype 2 is problematic because there is quite a bit of
variation around a theoretical modal haplotype and the actual haplotype
hasn't even been shown to exist. This points out the need for much more
extensive testing among these families and wider participation among Barton
families in general. These genetic tests are in their infancy. There are
many assumptions that may not hold up when more data are available,
particularly in regard to mutatation rates.

correct for SC44.41 and 42. There is still a tie between '11' and >'12' for
DYS 439(Y-GATA A4). Just curious why '11' was chosen over '12' by BYU?
