Trish, I don't know if there is any connection at all, but I have a Julia Cox who married a Henry Barton. Julia was the sister of my husband's g-grandmother. Julia's sister was born in Athen TX and died in Tyler, TX--her husband was from Nacogdoches and they met in Anderson County. I don't know the dates you have, but I was wondering of Julia could be a first or middle name and if Alice could also be connected. I suppose it's not likely, but one never knows. Who was her other child besides Oscar Barton b 1886/87?
