Hi, My name is Wally Caviness of Bellingham, Wa.. and I am a great grandson of F.M.Barton. via his daughter Emma Magdaline. I finally found the place of burial for him and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Grant Porter Barton. The Cem. is just north of Decatur, AR.
I am now looking for info on her. The 1910 Arkansas Census has them being married six years, either 1903-04????
He would have been around 58 or 59 when they were married.. According to the info I obtained, she was 4 1/2 years older than him.
If you have any info on her lineage prior to her marriage to F.M. Barton please let me know. Also, did they have any children?????
