Looking for information on a BARTON who married Margaret ANDERSON, who may have also been known as Rebekah. Margaret ANDERSON was born 1778 and died 1801. I have information that the husband may have been Joseph BARTON born 1769, son of William and Margaret BARTON. Margaret ANDERSON's family was from Lancaster County, PA; in 1800, Margaret and husband, sister Sally ANDERSON HASTINGS and brother Robert ANDERSON and his wife left Lancaster for Washington County, PA. Margaret BARTON died shortly after arriving there and her husband remarried. Margaret and husband had at least two children: Margaret and Hettie, possibly three additional.

I descend from Robert ANDERSON and am trying to fill in information on the other lines. Have lots of information on the ANDERSON's available to share. Please contact me direct at .
