Subject: Early 18th Century BASTINs of Virginia

Greetings!
Since I probably confused many cousins on our BASTIN-L with the e-mail
discussing the 18th Century VA BASTIN generations (William, Thomas, and John
Bastin) in response to the recent Query, attached is my present 6
generation tracing of this 'other' branch of the family. I have not yet
been able to connect to the branch with Thomas Bastin (married Hannah
Brockman) of Caswell County, NC, but remain strongly convinced that a
connection does exist.
My recent search through the incomplete Crozier book of Spotsylvania County,
VA records on a Family Tree Maker CD (CD #513) was non-conclusive. Still, I
am sure that a connection probably does exist, if I can but find the
records. I will keep the list posted if anything turns up.
(Many thanks to all on our BASTIN-L who have contributed to the following
summary: Judy Martin, Ruth Haste, Nell Gronberg, and all the others!)
Best Regards,
Gary Bastin
