Hi Mary:
Glad you asked:
As a matter of fact some of the Bairds/Beards did go to Ala.,Some to
Miss..,some toArkansas ,Illinois,N.Y, Ohio,Missouri,Texas ,Georgia,etc.
In fact my GT.gd. father went to Marion.Perry,Co. Ala. Md. Matilda
Rutledge there.
He lived near a William Beard ,Perhaps some relation.
James L and Robert was also there for a time prior to settling down in
the Birmingham area. There was a couple of Alexander beards there also.
LeRoy Baird ?beard oldest son of Jeremiah and Mary Pennington also went
to Marion,Perry,Co. where he md. Fannie Cain.
My gt. gd. father was Samuel Baird/Beard,
William and his family went to Miss.,as did Leroy and fannie.
And there were others in Ala. even a Zebulon.
Any one want to elaborate on this?
Fred
