Hello, I am looking for my Beard line. My great grandfather was George
Reed Beard and he married Mary Ann Forbus Causey and I think was married a
time or two before that. But this is probably not your George because mine
was in MS before moving with a group of family and friends to East Texas
back in 1871. But I do think that a part of LA use to be in MS. But I am
told that my George Reed Beard was born 1814 in Lincoln Co., TN. If I
happen to find any of yours I will let you know. If you think we have a
connection I will be happy to share what I have. Billie Sue
