My husband's Beard family came from IL, PA, & MO. However he was born late
in his parents life and we have no record or great grandparents.
Grandparents are: Frank Beard & Dora Bell Hatfield/Beard. They raised their
family in and around Bates Co. MO. (here's hoping)

Twice I have sent out a list of my Beard ancestors hoping to finding someone

that knew anything about any of them. I also sent out the same list some
time back. As of this time I haven't even had an answer from anyone if they

knew of any of these people or have run across any of the names on the list.

The lists of names I entered as much information I have on any of the people

listed.

Some of the ancestor's I did have birth and death dates, but don't have any
idea where any of them were from or where they were married or died.

I would really appreciate it if anyone out there on the Beard mailing list
or
any other list would send to me any information they may find. I am trying
to add to my family tree so that I can put it on a database for other's to
read and maybe add to.

I know that part of the family were from Illinois, PA and Missouri, but
those
are the only states other than Colorado that I am sure of that any of them
came from. When checking the Beard lists I haven't found anybody that
matches any of the names listed.

The list started out with my GGrandfather William Harrison Beard, IL and
wife
Mary Ann Elizabeth (Smith) Beard from PA. My grandfather was their oldest
child, John W. Beard, MO married to Laura Evelyna (Williams) MO.

The only compelete information except where the family lived is about John
W.
Beard and family. I am the last decendant of that line as far as the name
Beard goes. I have two male cousins who's mother was my father's sister so
the three of us are acctually the end of the line here. I have to add to
that. I had a sister three years younger than me and she had five children
that also decended from this line. My sister died in 1999 at age 59.

Any information at all would certainly be of a great help to me and I will
be
greatful to get anything. I've even thought about getting onto mailing list

of other states to see if I can find out anything there, Any suggestions???
