You can unsubscribe from a RootsWeb mail list as noted in Janice's
suggestion, but as a mail list owner/manager, RootsWeb's preference is that
you leave the Subject line BLANK and put the word Subscribe or Unsubscribe
in the text, or message, part of your email (like this area right here).

Some email programs will pop up a window telling you that you don't have a
subject - click through it. If your's will not allow an outgoing email
without something in the subject line, then put Subscribe or Unsubscribe
there TOO (which ever you're doing - not both) - but the word should also
be in the message part and it should be the only word there.

The Beard list manager can also unsubscribe you.
