Janet,
Could you remind me of the birthplace of your Barney. Mine are the Barney's
that appear on the 1860 and 1870 Clay Co., GA census. The older being the
uncle of the younger. There is a Bartholemew Beard that appears on the 1850
and 1860 Randolph Co., GA census that was born in SC abt 1825 but there
doesn't seem to be any relation to my line that I have found thus far.
