David Beard, died 1800 in Tyrone Township, Cumberland, PA. Wife Janet.
Daughter Jean married to a Kelly, sons David and John.

David Jr. lived in Cumberland, later Perry County, PA until the 1810 census
after which he disappears. He had many children, several already born in
1800, but Beards do not present themselves in 1820 Perry County census data.
There is one Baird, James, in Tyrone Township, but I have been able to make
no connection. According to census data, brother John may have lived with
David Jr.
