Milissa, you have certainly been working overtime this evening. You have
even added names that I only had down on paper. My oldest daughter began
working on the family genealogy in 1977 while here husband was in the Marine
Corp. She did more through 1979, but stopped after she started a family.
She had some of the names you just mentioned and I had no idea whom their
parents were.
It is nearly 12 p.m. and I need to get to bed so I will work on this tomorrow
and give you married names that I have to some of the people that you told me
about. Naturally they will be on a different census than these. I had no
way of finding any of them on any census records because I didn't have access
to any census records. It really gives me something good to feel about this
evening. I believe you have helped me more than I ever expected that anybody
would. I would like to give you a big hug this evening for making all of
this happen for me. I keep in touch with my children's father and he will be
happy to find out everything you have sent to me. Ever once in awhile he
runs across something as he is working on genealogy and sends it along to me.
Milissa , I think it is time that we both go to bed and get back to this
tomorrow, don't you? By the way, what State do you live in? I live in
Oregon and have all of my life. I was born and raised here and lived my
younger years in a log house that my folks built in the early 40's.
Good night for now and maybe we will have time to talk tomorrow. I just
remembered, maybe you will be planning on a New Year's Eve party or getting
ready for a New Year's dinner for the next day. I live with my oldest son
and he will be 44 on New Years day. His girlfriend is going to make a
birthday cake for him and we are going together to buy him a new Leather,
Western hat. He has been looking for one for a long time. They are real
hard to find. It is after midnight so I am going to say goodnight for good
this time and will talk to you later.
Christina
