Here is what I seem to have.
Henry Simon Beard Married Eliza A Smith April 19, 1854 in Christian Co.
Illinois. But have Simon on My great grandfather's birth certificate as
father. So must of went by his middle name.
Only name I have for a child for them was my great grandfather who was
John William Beard born July 11, 1858 in Illinois and died Nov 5, 1915
in St. Joseph Buchanan Co. Missouri and married Mary E. McElwee daughter
of Anthony McElwee and Ellen Dooley. She was born Dec 18, 1861 in Des
Moines Polk co. Iowa and died April 27, 1930 in Clarinda page co Iowa.
No listing of any children to my great grandpa or great great grandpa or
siblings.
Children to John William and Mary are;
Edward or John Edward Beard- deceased
Charles Beard Born 1886-Greenfield, Iowa died Dec 14 1945 Detroit
Michigan married Florence Bowen
John Francis Beard died Wenatchee, Washington 1929 married to Jesse
Witte
Ellen Beard died age 7
Walter Beard deceased
William Raymond Beard named changed to James P O Connor no papers on it
and he married to a Neada White
Beulah Beard
Katherine Beard born Oct 1896 in St Joseph Missouri died K.C. Missouri
Jan 26 1969 Married to Henry Overbeck
Irene Beard born St Joseph Missouri married to 1. James Dacy and 2 Max
Strom
Clarence Beard
Lawrence Beard
Thomas Anthony Beard born 26 April 1903 in St Joseph Missouri died 8 Sep
1961 Detroit Michigan married Ruth Avis Anderson
Mary Beard

Thomas Anthony was my grandpa and my dad was Thomas Donald Beard born
Sept 23 1925 in Detroit Michigan and died Mar 4 1985 in Dearborn
Michigan

I sure hope that this helps as that is all that I have at the time.

Ruth,
I have another ideal. Give me all the info on your grandpa and his
siblings
and were you think or know they would have been in 1920 & 1930. I will
try
to look them up on those census and maybe we will get lucky and a
reliative
will be living close by. Then maybe we can back track. I ran a search
for a
Simeon Beard but didn't find one. That doesn't mean one didn't exsist,
that
just means yours will be as hard to track as mine are. Gladly will pull
what
info I can for you. Will try to get to the research library next week
and
see what I can find, I have to go to look some of my stuff up also.
