I don't know if this is still a valid address for Lloyd (), but if it is, please let me know. I have saved your correspondence to the Baird list in 2001 regarding the possible Bowne/Baird connection. In today's Parade magazine, there is an article regarding the Bowne home in Flushing, NY, which was used as a Quaker meeting House. Just wanted to let everyone know of this article in case they missed it and also to see if any knows of any official link of Avis Bowne (wife of John Baird, Jr.) to this Bowne Family. The article says that 6 U.S. presidents are descendants of this Bowne family (but it didn't name them.)
