Subject: Recent obit for Robert A. Bearden - Donelson TN

Robert A. Bearden - Aug. 21, 1998. Mr. Bearden worked for
the Tennessean 24 years from 1953-1977. He served in the
Army during WWII and the Navy during the Korean War. He is
survived by his son, Robert J. (R.J. Bearden of Hermitage;
sister, Edith Bearden Havlicek of Roanoke, VA; 6
grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will
be Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 12 noon at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral
Home with Rev. Roy Fisher and Bro. W. L. Baker officiating.
Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. The family request Visitation
Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 and Monday 6-8. Family and Friends will
serve as Active Pallbearers.
