Dear Ray
I have been following the recent thread of Arlesey family connections with
interest as my PRUTTON family were also one of the main names appearing in
the parish registers. In my experience almost all Arlesey families in the
19th C were interconnected by marriage. The names Albon(e), Devereaux, King,
Prutton and Rainbow were all prevalent. I have instances of all those names
in my family tree.
Samuel KING m Phoebe PRUTTON 19 Jan 1839
Charles DEVEREAUX m Anice PRUTTON 11 Oct 1851
John DEVEREAUX m Lucy PRUTTON 22 Nov 1851
Sarah DEVEREAUX m John PRUTTON 23 Jul 1904
Charlotte ALBON m John PRUTTON 26 Dec 1810
Jesse RAINBOW m Ann PRUTTON 18 Nov 1840
If you have any connection to the above, let me know. I have already made a
connection to someone descended from that last marriage, so it would be
great to find more.
Lesley
