I have checked the famous Debrabandere and he does mention Pottier and
Potier under the same name as alternatives. He also mentions the following
alternatives that might interest you:
Potiers
PotiƩ
Potie
Pothier
Potiez
Pottiez
Pottie
Since we're at it: "Pottier" is a name derived of a profession:"potter".
