In my quest to find John B. Engels, I have found several conflicting items that perhaps someone will be able to clarify for me. John B., seems to have been called by Jean Baptiste Ingelswhen he married Gertrude Seron. But it seems at his birth in 1807 his name was Joannes and married Gertrude Feron.
Can anyone tell me how I could get a copy of his birth record? I think John B, Jean Baptiste and Joannes are one and the same person but without records I am without proof. Can anyone help me?
Also, could one of his children, Charles, be the same son as the Julius in our family records?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
