Placename:
place of refuge, main lodge, fortification of the city walls or castle
walls.
Possible places are:
1. "Wijkhuize" in Kruishoutem (East-Flanders)
2. also in Gits, Lichtervelde, Beveren-Roeselare, Hooglede, Passendale
3. "Wijkhuizen" in Steenokkerzeel (Brabant)
Lookup for DeCap
Cappe, Kappe, (de) Cap:
1. Nickname for someone with a cap or hood.
2. Surname of occupation (producer of hoods or caps)
Both lookups only in "De Brabandere" (Northern part of Belgium).
