Hello and Happy New Year;
I am new here, and at this point confused: Perhaps someone could help
me:

In 02.03.1658, a Paul Hilger (Hilliger, Hildger) oo to Catharina
emigrated from
Mariembourg, South of Charleroi/Hennegu Belgien to Werl Germany.

Am I in the right place to search further back in Belgium?
Any help is appreciated.
