Hi Folks,

Does anyone know who has the actual Parish Registers of Bonlez in Brabant.
The LDS records only go up to the year 1812 (I have seen l'Etat Civil). I
am interested in items that might be listed during the years 1829 and
1853-1855. My immigrant ancestor, Marie Catherine Josephe BOULANGER was
born on 17 September 1829 and married to Camille Eugene R. de BUISSERET
about 1853-1855. My 'quest' is to find a reference to the location of that
marriage (somewhere in France, near Paris?). The reference would possibly
appended to her marriage record or even noted during the years of the
marriage (1853-1855).

I have the BONLEZ: INVENTAIRE DES FAMILLES published by C.H.A.W. Did this
volume use the post-1812 Bonlez Parish Registers? If so, should I give up
my 'quest'.

The INVENTAIRE does give a year-date for the marriage of 1853 and guesses
that the marriage might have been in Wavre. My best guess for the marriage
is 1854 and I cannot find a link to the BUISSERET family of Wavre. The
INVENTAIRE also states that Camille Eugene R. de BUISSERET died on 3 January
1882, which is wrong, he died in 1871 in Terre Haute, Indiana (he lived near
Vincennes, Indiana). The date in the INVENTAIRE happens to be for the death
of a son, Camille Eugene Joseph de BUISSERET. He died while during a
Christmas visit to BOULANGER cousins in Green Bay, Thiry Daems, and
Dyckesville in Wisconsin (how did that information get back to Belgium?).
So I am skeptical about the marriage reference in the INVENTAIRE.......

Thanks........Lynn Recker
