m. in 1890 Palmyra(Painulle) Icelyn or van Hysling b.1864

Their children were all born in Belgium:
Jeanne b.1888
Frank(Francois) b.1889
Harry (Henry Charles) b.1890
Anna b. 1892
Marie b. 1898

The mother and first 4 children were on the ship Westernland in 1892 as
Gansel.

Joseph E. Gancel was a chef of some reknown. also wrote a culinary
encyclopedia for chefs.

I also have a death announcement for :

Messire Polixene Gancel
CHanoine titulaire
Cure-Archupretre de la Cathedrale de ST. Brieuc
died 19, February 1894

I don't know who he is! Based on year of death,he could be father to Joseph??
