Hi,

I am researching the Absileus Family from Belgium. They emigrated in 1855 to
Wisconsin in the United States. The family that I am researching is my great
grandfather and my great great grand parents. The information that I have
is as follows:

Francois Absileus, born/baptised 3 November 1838 in Aische-En-Refial
(great grandfather)

George Absileus, born/baptised 23 April 1813 in Namur (great great
grandfather)
Marie-Joseph Robat, born/baptised 7 Dec 1812 (great great grandmother).

Her parents were Jean Francois Robat and Ann Bolen.

Marriage of George and Marie was on 20 Feb 1838.

I would like to obtain photocopies of the birth/baptisms for each of the
individuals and the marriage record of George and Marie. If information is
available on the parents of George Absileus I would also appreciated
receiving that information.

The spelling of the family name Absileus has many variations. I have
selected only one of them. I have written to the Civil Office in Namur
many-many months ago but have not heard anything.
