We speculate that Johannes Wilten sin born about 1690 was living in
Alzey in 1738 when he and his wife Catharine Barnitz left for
Philadelphia. This is the way he signed his name - with a very distinct
space between the surname and the ending. We further speculate that his
family may have come from Belgium.
Anyone see a possible connection? .
