Hi, I am Janet Heurter. I have been trying to find my husbands family, to
many brick walls. I need help. My father n law, Percy Felix Heurter, b. 1906
June 24, Audenne Namur Belgium, to Florent Heurter and Anne or Annie Heurter,
no dates on parents. Brothers and sister. Florent Heurter, Thomas Heurter,
Marie Heurter, William Heurter. No dates for any of them in Belgium. They left
from Liverpool England on the Metagama Dec 1919, I believe they arrived in
Saint John New Brunswick Canada Jan 1920. Percy added Edward Percy Felix
Heurter either upon arriving in Canada or just before they left as the Belgium
government was looking for him and his brother Florent to fight against the
Germans. I have information on my father n law after he came into the US and also
on Thomas and William. I do have Marie's Death notice but no birth date. Can
someone please help me with any information on them before they left for the
US. Anne or Annie's maiden name was Wilson. That is all I have on her.
Florent did go back to Belgium to fight cause the Belgium government found them in
Canada and my father n law in the US. Florent was killed when the ship he was
on coming back to Canada was sunk by a U boat.
