In response to list-owner's suggestion, here is the BELL family whose
ancestry I am trying to trace:

Truman Bell, born Sept. 4, 1787, Richmond, MA, son of Jason Bell and Lydia
Hill (they also had a son named Norman, born 1790.) Truman Bell married
Polly Hayward (IGI calls her Olive), probably in Vermont. They had at
least three children born in Weybridge, VT:
Polly Hayward Bell - 27 March 1814 - married Mr. Sperry
Samantha Bell - 25 Oct. 1816
Dennis Bell - 2 Jan. 1820
They had Hayward (Howard) Bell, born 1824 in Malone, NY
Two other children were born but I'm not sure where or when
Eliza Bell - md. Mr. Curtis and lived in Rutland VT
Azel Bell
Truman Bell died in Malone NY, and Polly remarried, to a Deacon Parker.
Howard and Azel Bell moved to Iowa, where Howard married Helen Mar
Woodward. They had three children: Nellie- 1860, Edna (Tinnie) - 1862, and
Clarence - 1870.

If anyone can connect with this family I would truly appreciate hearing
from you.
